Highway 67 to the North Rim will be closed for the winter by ADOT December 2, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. Lodging and food service within the park has closed for the season. The North Rim is open for day use only in November, defined as dawn to dusk. No overnight parking is permitted along the Highway 67 corridor inside the park. The North Rim Visitor Center, Backcountry Permits Office, and all other services are closed. Water is available outside the Backcountry Permits Office.
