PHOENIX – Both directions of US 89A are closed in Northern Arizona.
The closure is due to the White Sage Fire at milepost 595, between the communities of Fredonia and Jacob Lake.
Southbound US 89A is closed at State Route 389 in Fredonia. Northbound US 89A is closed at US 89 in Bitter Springs.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes. There is no estimated time for the highway to reopen.
